May 28-29 Materials Exchange

On Thursday, May 28th and Friday, May 29th we will host a materials exchange for students. Included below are a schedule we have developed for families as well as a map of the stations students will attend while here. We expect that a student can move through stations A-F in roughly three minutes before exiting the building. Helpful reminders for these days:
  • Only one family member (parent or student) should enter the building to exchange materials.
  • All people who enter the building must wear face masks while inside.
  • All NBJH staff members who are assisting with the materials exchange will be wearing face masks and gloves.
  • Staff members will limit the number of individuals in the building at one time and will enforce social distancing guidelines.
  • Cars should enter from Maple Avenue and head toward the back of school. Traffic directors will guide cars through the back parking lot so families can enter the building through the gym lobby.
  • Students should return library books (from the LRC or LA classroom), textbooks and school-issued technology. Technology includes iPad and sleeping bag. Only 8th graders and students not returning to NBJH should return their charger.
  • Students will receive materials from their school locker, PE locker, some class projects and yearbooks (for those who ordered one during registration). Please contact Debby Morris, our school nurse, if you have medication in the health office and we can arrange a pickup.
Click here to find your assigned time on either May 28th or May 29th. (For families who cannot make their assigned time, please use the Open Exchange time slots from 2:30-3:30pm each day or contact Mrs. Gail to schedule a different time.) We have also included a map of the stations where dropoff and pickup of materials will occur in the two gyms and the gym lobby.
