Program Details

NEW this year: Registration for Outdoor Education will begin online Aug. 26 and will close on Friday, Sept. 13.
All students must register if they are attending the trip or not.  
Please click the 6th Grade Outdoor Education button on the registration/online payment page

Cost for the trip is $205 and can be paid online at the time of registration or by cash or check payable to District 28.   If paying by cash or check, please have your child return payment to their x-block teacher with your signed Health Form.  The registration is not complete until the x-block teacher receives the signed Health Form & payment if not paid online. 


A health form for each student is required. Download the health form, fill in, print, sign and return to your student's X-block teacher.

Students should arrive at Northbrook Junior High on Wednesday, September 25 no later than 8:00 a.m.  Please drop off your student at the gymnasium entrance.  We leave NBJH for Camp Timber-lee at 8:45 a.m.

Students will return  to Northbrook Junior High on Friday, September 27 between 1:45 – 2:15 p.m.  If picking up your student, please pick up your student in the parking lot of Meadowhill parking lot.  We will send email communication to parents early afternoon on Friday with the expected time of arrival.  Please note: Supervision will be provided at school for students who will ride home on their regular bus routes at 3:35 p.m.

If there is an emergency while your student is away, you can reach Camp Timber-lee at 262-642-7345.  

The switchboard is open from 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Health & Medication Information

ALL parents must fill out the Health Form
The health form needs to be filled out and returned ASAP to your child’s X-block teacher.

Medication drop off

Bring all medications to the NBJH health office no later than 4:15 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20.  The nurse will accept medication anytime the week of Sept. 16.  All medication needs to be in the original,labeled container. We are unable to accept medications on the day of departure Wednesday, Sept. 25.

Medication pick up

All medication sent to camp MUST be picked up Friday afternoon when we return from camp.
